Kinnaly Lao Traditional Music & Dance has had the great opportunity to perform at many different events and collaborate with prominent organizations within the Lao community. These opportunities allow us to take our students learning outside of the classroom and be fully immersed in new and exciting experiences.
Performance Details:
The average donation we receive is $400-500 for a small group performance (5 or less performers). All donations go back to our program (rent, costumes, supplies, student activities).
All our students/performers are ages 4-19 and often require parent chaperones and assistance getting ready.
Depending on the performance request, we may ask for things like a dressing room, parents to have access to watch their child(ren) perform, kid-friendly snacks/drinks, etc.
Weekday performances are difficult as all of our students are in school and have after school activities.
Outside venues are difficult because our dances are all done barefoot and our musicians traditionally need to sit on the floor to play.
